![]() ![]() That piece just didn't want to line up and took a lot of my patience. Primarily the stupid cover that sits on the front of the tank around the key. I've had the side fairings off before to swap out for TST's Honeycomb turn signals and had no issues there, but for whatever reason, after removing the tank I had a ton of difficulty and had to even unmount the tank a second time and readjust to get stuff aligned. Taking everything off was a straightforward process, but I had a hell of a time getting some of the bolt holes to line up when re-assembling. Side note, removing the gas tank and everything to get to the ECU and Airbox was extremely annoying. Less than 1-week downtime and I cannot express enough how happy I am with the changes. The bike seems to run a lot smoother (other than vibrating like hell which it always has) Overall what an incredible experience and I would encourage every single person with a 650 if you have the roughly $300 to have your ECU flashed by them. I also added a DNA air filter with the ECU flash and the performance increase was instantly noticeable. I wish I would have done this at the same time I put the exhaust on. I finally decided to send out my ECU to have it flashed by and WOW! What a difference it makes. For the past 5kish miles I have been running it this way on the stock tune from the factory.
